New SOAS Accounting Software
SOAS has recently finished an upgrade to our in-house accounting system. We are pleased to announce one of the new features available to all registered SOAS account is the ability for us to generate a statement of the activity in your account and send it out electronically as a PDF. If you would like the activity on your account please send an email to soas@umich.edu, making sure to let us know what the name of your group is and your project/grant number.
Activity in the new system started on April 1, 2008. While we can still provide you with activity from before that date, it will take a little longer to pull that information and it will have to be picked up in person in the SOAS office.
2008-2009 Registration
Registration is now open for the 2008-2009 academic year. Registration is completed online and is an easy way to update your authorized signer list . If your group was registered for the 2007-2008 school year, that registration will be valid until the end of September, but after that you will need to go through the registration process.
Online with SOAS
Our online system makes working with SOAS easier and stress free, here are some help reminders:
*Logon to SOAS - Online to authorize disbursement forms and add/delete signers.
*Choose the forms page to access downloadable copies of SOAS paperwork.
*If you, or a family member, have a disbursement that you need to be reimbursed for just remember that you are not permitted to authorize your own paperwork. Have another signer on your account login to create the disbursement.
*You can email SOAS at any time with any questions you have about your account
